Hi
On the 23/08/2006 by Dad was diagnosed with cancer he died 7 weeks ago.
His main interests were building model planes (own design) and engines piston jet and electric. We have been left with a workshop full of tools and engines of all sorts and types single, two, and three cylinder bought and home made and two gas turbines jet engines based on the KJ66 design I think.
Most of the workshop tools were no problem to get rid of lathe milling machine but there are a few items you strange people maybe interested in a spot welder (home made coverted arc) which he used for the engine cases and an Edwards "Speedivac" High Vacuum Pump. I have no idea what that was used for.
The above are on ebay with an own design jet powered plane.
He had so much fun making the jets it did not realize how hard it was to build a working jet engine untill I found all the prototypes.
I have fond memorys of jet engines "hold on to the bench quick now"
"oh my god look at that £"£$$ hot spot"
http://www.bowenbrecon.co.uk/planes/
is where the planes/engines/spares/plans are

is what i am selling on ebay
Cheers
Paul

re: Useful Jet workshop Tools and engine parts
My condoleances, I was in almost exactly the same situation three years ago, so I recognize your pain.
There is some interesting stuff there, if I had lived in UK I would have placed some bids. I find it heartwarming that you try to find a good home for the stuff among people who apreciate it.
