Who knows.. its ex-military.

What I do know is that you seem to get between 1 and 10% of the value of large plant items if you sell them on Ebay. I think he has no chance of getting 1/4 mill for that item.

If you want a good engine I can sell you an entire Harrier Jump Jet c/w 21180 lb Rolls-Royce Pegasus Mk.105 (minus avionics & canopy) for $60,000. You collect!

Cheers,

Wilson.

at a show i've talked with one of these guys about the turbines they use in their tractor puller, ex-rusian helicopter engines. If my memory is well, they bought them for about 15.000 euros a piece.

Hi Wilson, thanks for very attractive proposal. $60,000 is very reasonable price, but I just got back from an automation machinery exhibition, I need to purchase a good CNC mill more urgently, the prices they quoted me were around US$60000 as well, this quarter my business have some cash flows, if this continue to happen, maybe I will be able to build a jet engine museum with a pagasus engine in my collection, someday.

Wilson, when I was younger, I used to have wet dreams about putting a bike seat and handlebars on that Pegasus and just taking off... However, financially speaking, it's just not time for that yet. Mentally speaking, it's just not time for that anymore...
