Airesearch Auxillary Power Unit

I have a Auxillary Power Unit made by Airesearch. The info on the tag is;

"Compressor Cent. Air Turbine"
"Part 206170"
"Model ATCU30-12-4"
"Airesearch"

From the info I can find online, this unit is fired up, and the turbo charger type device on the end sends a large volume of air to a larger jets air starter. Ive seen simular units with the turbo charger removed and using the shaft to power different items.

My question is, if i wanted to use this to power a go-kart or simular device, what would I need. How hard of a project would it be? If it would be too much of a PITA, I will just sell it (Anyone interested?)
