Today I (and some friends) cut some parts on the CNC plasma cutter, and started collecting a pile of parts to make this project happen.

I forgot all about this, even though the document has been on my computer for years. I only ever took notice of the combustor. Very interesting! Porter & Co really took care to duct all the flows carefully. The only thing that bothers me is that dogleg kink in the duct facing the intake. What we should all do, really, is cough up some money and host a pulsejet veterans' conference somewhere pleasant. Invite all the Project Squid veterans and the major figures that came afterwards -- people like Foa, Porter, Logan, Kentfield, Kumar etc. I'd bet many are still around. Perhaps the French, too. They usually came up with the weirdest layouts. I know that Kentfield is still active.
Maybe we could find a sponsor to cover the organizing costs. I'd give my left hand to attend. OK, maybe just a finger, but still, a lot.
