Web Site for Alt-Accel Shutting Down

Post by Glenn Olson » Wed Mar 04, 2009 4:50 am

Notice: Due to economic concerns and my more pressing activities in other areas I will be shutting down my Alt-Accel web site on or about April 15, 2009.

Anyone wishing to copy that material may do so freely, though the ideas I've created remain mine and I would appreciate the credit. My e-mail addresses, glenn.olson@alt-accel.com and oglenn@earthlink.net, may or may not continue to be functional after that date.

I would like to thank all you folks out there who've contributed through your comments and questions as well as all the sources I've read, especially this forum.

Glenn

Good luck with your endeavors, Glenn! I'm thinking of grabbing the ramjet stuff. Certainly you'll get credit!

Dear Glenn,

I have relied on your site as a starting point in many ramjet-related searches; it will be missed.

True story:
If not for the information on this website, I never could have succeeded in putting ASALM
back on the map within Nasa and Darpa/AFRL/NSSO. Its historical significance threatened
continuing funding in Boeing's X-51, and ASALM was effectively buried by 2007. No longer!
Perhaps by "grabbing", Mike means that he will archive the pages here in an accessible manner.

I, for one, certainly hope so. :D

Best wishes,
M.

Hi Glenn

Just a word to echo Forrest and others sentiments and wish you all the best, I always found your work interesting and thought inspiring, especially the tale of the European ;-)

All the best to you and yours

If you want I would be happy to host your site under my domain, I have more space and bandwidth than I could ever use.

Talking like a pirate does not qualify as experience, this should be common sense, as pirates have little real life experience in anything other than smelling bad, and contracting venereal diseases
