steam powered FANJET?

so i had an idea of connecting a steam turbine to the compressor of a fanjet and having the combustion chamber also act as a boiler to power the turbine, also it would have a 2nd boiler in there with alcohol which would fuel it or it could be run on some external fuel supply but i wanted to keep everything "self contained" . It would be some kind of hybrid steam/gas jet engine. What are your thought on this?
