Might work better if you use the other side as the intake.

hmm... the problem I see is that if you used the small opening for the diffuser it would be too sharp an angle for the diffuser to work properly... they generally say to use a 10 degree TOTAL angle for the diffuser. Which is why mine is so long...
Anyways, there's nothing you can do but try! read up and see if you can make it go!

t will be dificl of making because among the direct and conical part it is a single piece
I will have to cut it
