re: A question about homemade ramjets
I wanna go for testing, but I've got really big problems making the nozzle. You know constructing the nozzle which is actually a cone is difficult, cuz I can't machine it from a solid piece of metal, so the only way is to get something which it resembles a cone and then machine that, I really don't know what I have to use in order to make my nozzle...

Try fabricating it.......... If you still want to machine one then Google Richard Nakka , he's a rocketry guy but has a whole page on how to construct nozzles.

Dear Najm, I've successfully made a very nice nozzle cone, it looks really beautiful and I'm quite happy I could have machined that, after a long period.
Now, the only remaining parts waiting to be made are two flanges that are supposed to be welded to the nozzle and the CC. Then coupling of the nozzle to the rest of the engine will be possible...and more intersting...the testing will be possible...
Thank you a lot,
Arman
