Lockwood on Ebay

Post by marksteamnz » Mon Nov 10, 2003 6:56 pm

The Gas Tubine list gave me a heads up on this and I just had to share.
Ebay 2962421359
Lockwood 50lbs brand new in stainless steel built once you front with the money. Buy it now price is wait for it. 1500 pounds Sterling. ie about US $2500

I presume it's machined from from billet unobtanium.

The sellers other items do not build confidence.
Cheers

Another One!

I guess he sold that first one cause here's another! $2500 US seems terribly expensive for an empty tube, even if it is made with stainless steel. For that kind of money I would expect neater welds than the ones on that jet.

I posted a message to Andreas Sunnhordvik, who actually owns the picture this dickhead is using on eBay.

Quote**

"Thanks ! Yes it's my lockwood, but I'm not selling.
I live in Norway and seller is from England...

Hmmm... somebody should be ashamed !

Thanks for letting me know!
Andreas Sunnhordvik"

I suggested he change the pic to something else, so this clown links to it.
I also let him know about the group, and suggest he stop by.

My good deed done on my birthday.

Later,

P Skinner

I'd love to know who this is. It says he lives in London. Could it be the same person who lives over the river from me?
