i've presented it at my school (it was for a school project) so i was able to run it for a longer time, it ran pretty good till my tank froze over and it flamed out.

That said, I would me much happier if you'd been wearing ear defenders. A pair of disposable foam numbers under a pair of proper cans, standing that close. You're doing yourself serious harm, and it won't recover.

I've attempted to run it with tipping the gas, but it flamed out unfortunately.

Great job, Joris!
Tipping the tank for liquid feed represents a great deal more fuel. Next time, let it run on gas until it is quite hot, then turn it down as far as you can without it quitting; then turn the tank. It's touchy.
or add a needle valve for finer control and start out with the tank inverted.
