Audio Recording of Engines

Post by sepulchra » Thu Mar 01, 2012 7:47 pm

My name is Michael Raphael and I'm an audio recordists and I'm interested in recording a a variety of engines. I've recorded a rocket motors before, and am very much interested in making high quality recordings of all different types of engines and propulsion.

Just from doing some research it seems like a bunch of folks are out west, but I'm based in the New York Area and would love to try and find some folks who are local. If anyone is game to run some engines so I can make some killer recordings, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
Michael

I just wanted to post a follow up to my original message. I haven't been able to find any folks with engines on the east coast and would be willing to travel to record some engines if folks are game. At this point I'm planning a trip to the LA area in early June and I'm wondering if anyone would be game to let me record their engines.

Thanks!,
MIchael
