joe i have a very big good news for you today, i ran the engine with four intakes and it was awesome i think it gives much thrust. I just reduced 3.4cm dia to 3.0cm dia of each intake. Take a look at the video and i think i can use the old augmenter.

Thats good news :D , liquid propane has much more available energy. Have to slightly reduce the augmentor size for the reduction in intake size. My apologies for late reply, was off line for the weekend.

morning i designed an augmenter for this engine see whether it suits or not. And i could say that this is the first time i ran my engine in liquid propane and it was awesome.

16.5cm is big, but I understand that the intakes may not allow it to be smaller.

So shall i make it or do i have to do any adjustments. Or shall i make individual augmenter for each intake.

Individual augmentors would be alot of work and weight. For a quick test, I would just roll a augmentor to 14cm diameter, by 32cm length. Dont worry about the flare or expansion on this one. The metal would need to be very light.

It should significantly increase the sound and thrust. If not, it will need to be reduced smaller than 14cm, or with individual for each intake.

rolling to 14cm is easy but i think that diameter wont reach four intakes. Without reaching how can the intakes suck more air through augmenter.

Yes your correct the intakes must reach, but I dont know what the diameter would be to have it reach?

The unknown diameter is 18cm, for this reason i used 16.5cm which reaches all the centres of the intakes.

Ok, it will most likely need the individual augmentors. The 16.5cm would probably be leaking alot of pressure from the front flare. Try to keep them as light as possible. What was the diameter of the un expanded pipe section on the tail pipe?

Hi mate have you got any updates too share?

Have you designed that car/kart yet? I like the idea of those aero dynamic down hill gravity powered cars with a pulsejet or two shoe horned on.

We want more video :D

8cm would indicate the individual augmentors would need to be near 4cm diameter each.
