ANYONE IN STH ENGLAND INTO PULSEJETS?

Post by cb1000 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 8:29 pm

Hi , I am new to pulse jets and have just built a Lockwood-hiller using a published plan, but increasing it about 30%. Needless to say it won't start :? It makes one loud bang then just flames, plus sometimes another bang 30 secs after turning off the propane. I have gone over the usual checks ( reading other posts on non-starting ) but no luck :( .
Is there anyone around south england who would be willing and able to offer any advice on seeing it ?
if so can you email c.berg@ntlworld.com

Thanks for the response, but you seem to be having your own probs with making your elektra ? If you know about lockwoods and can help I would be very greatful and would make the trip to visit you.
If you are still having probs with your ignition I could probably help you as I am an electronic engineer - but this is normally the easiest part to sort out on pulsejets.
