Hi all! (Newbie)

Post by Haggis » Mon Dec 27, 2010 1:25 pm

Hey guys! Just called in to say hello and run some ideas past everyone in the hope of getting some advice!

Im planning on building a second Pulse Jet engine after building 1 flop engine that ran (kind of) on LPG.

My new job has me in one location for a long period of time, with no access to new materials but with some fantastic equipment and supplies to work with now and an almost endless supply of JET-A1 (Aircraft Turbine Kerosene) fuel.

I was thinking of building a simple valveless design, which may be used to thrust a vehicle of some sort in the future and runs on JET-A1 fuel.

Any good plans to start with or any pointers on using a liquid fuel??

I hope someone can help

Regards
Corey

If you want to start EZ then build a thermojet, available from Eric Becks website or elsewhere here. I would suggest starting with gaseous fuels first i.e. propane/butane.
It is much easier to assimilate understanding of starting and function.....if you require more info just ask.
