More free plans: 26 pound Chinese

This is the M25. It is a Chinese style engine and has 2 intakes positioned at 75 degrees.

Specs:

Length just a hair over 1m
thrust: 26.4 pounds max*
runs on propane

*The plans specify Rosscojectors. I have used these injectors with great succes however, they are not ideal. For best performance, use GRIM's 3-point injectors or "GRIMjectors" a higher max thrust might be attainable.

Attached to this post you will find a 3d picture of the engine, a photo, the plans and a .rar file. In this .rar file are all the cone layouts you need. All these layouts have been corrected for 1mm steel. If you plan on using a different thickness steel, the layouts need to be corected. Note that the plans display the intakes at 180 degrees. I can not make 2d drawings with the intakes at 75 degrees. This does not mean you should build the choke for intakes at 180 degrees :)

All the files are in the .con filetype. They can be opened with cone.exe, also in the rar file.

The choke cone and intake elbow have been done in google sketchup due to their complex shape. The intake has been compensated for the flare. It should return to the right size after the flare has been hammered. Please note that google sketchup has the most ridiculous printing setup I've ever seen. Why this has not been fixed over the years is beyond me. The only way to get your 2d, scaled prints on a minimum amout of paper is to resize the sketchup windows and play with the "scroll" and "move" functions to make sure the least amount of white space resides around the model. This is because sketchup also prints all the white space around the model...

in sketchup make sure the following settings are met:camera>>parallel projection
and in the printing area make sure that "use model extends" is checked. "in the printout" 1 inch "in sketchup" 1 inch
print and measure the printouts to make sure it printed them out correctly

Build this engine within specifications! do not exceed tollerance of 1mm lengthwise or .5mm in width
Performance is not guaranteed if specs are not met.
You will need to bang out the endcap to the cc yourself. Stick to the plans!

Disclaimer!

You are responsible to any and all damages done to people, animals and property
Do not run this engine in populated areas
Do not run this engine without proper hearing protection
Do not stand in front of this engine
Do not touch the engine during, and directly after operation. It will get VERY hot
Do not move your head towards the exhaust area, that includes the sides as well!
Use proper propane hoses, fittings and couplings
Properly secure the engine before static testing
Point the exhaust towards the direction of the wind when running statically
