i have a question for you pulsejet engine builders.
which of the designs is usually the most powerful ones?...is it the Hiller Lockwood??
I want to build a big...a very big valveless pulsejet with ALOT of thrust for a landspeed project...it should be light weight and the design should be VERY powerful for its size, it means i want to build the most powerful design to get out maxthrust...so who is the most powerful ones?....and who is the easiest to build??...difficult to answer maybe i know....thank you for all your help....best regards/stephan

Have a look for Bruce Simpsons Pulse Jet powered Dragster on Youtube.
The engines on that were really big Lockwood Pulse Jets.
There are better pulse jets out there - for instance see Eric's site - Beck Technologies.
The Lockwood seems to be the most known one out there - it has it's disadvantages though
- sucks fuel like there's no tomorrow ...
Big Pulse Jets also have big problems as they can totally screw up your body.
I know it's sounds a bit rude - but - the main consideration basically comes down to -
"How much money are you willing to spend?"
