What happened here!?!?!
As I emerge from my underground lair after many months of silence, its like walking out onto a post-apocalyptic waste land...
What happened here... the forum... the people... the old crew... the guys who knew their stuff and helped new comers?
I remember a time where the valveless pulsejet thread had valveless pulsejet information, new ideas, new comers bringing ideas and having good and helpful debate on useful topics. The old crew debating things like blast compression, better valveless design... people... really... this is so sad.
What the f**k happened? It's like its become a blog/readers digest of shit and it breaks my heart.
I haven't heard from many of you in so long!
My skype is still active, as is my msn and email if you had it, feel free to add me again.
I can only truly hope that it returns to its former glory, an information beehive for people to learn important information and facts about something we love so much.

Re: What happened here!?!?!
No need to get all critical. Hi, btw!
So the face of the forum changes with time. Thanks to the guys that are helping the newbs, I greatly appreciate it!
I'm on hiatus myself, just too busy for non-moneymaking fun.
What have you been doing?
Oh posting from my new iPad. Pretty cool!

Re: What happened here!?!?!
I sure have not been happening here....
So occupied with other things, have not even looked lately.
I have been working on something of interest SLOWLY.....
Wile not by any means considering my self an expert or even a good source for info....
I do not lack enthusiasm Just Time....
But I suspect that many of us, at all levels, are just plain busy.
Times are "Interesting" to quote the Chinese curse.
And yes my main server BLEW UP AGAIN <whimper>

In the process of moving, from the glorified phone booth we had to the house we have.

Hey James,
How's it going - hope you are well ! I haven't been doing much as I have taken up being
a full time student again-yay yay yay . Money has been tight and looking after the family , rent etc etc has priority.
Hows the hand and your studies coming along?
Still have I am learning heaps as I spent the most of last month in the guts of J58 and T53
turbines. As soon as the money situation changes I will start cranking out some
more pulse jets - yeharr etc !!!

Hi MikeMike Everman wrote:Nice fish! I go for my summer fly fishing soon.
Yes I was very pleased with those, Nicole pulled one out of the water with five minutes of arriving at the lake, you can imagine how that cheered me up as I was still setting up the other rods! mine came about half an hour later so not so bad I remember you like the fly fishing, not some thing I have tried but the old water agent at Reading offered to take for a lesson but due to work i never got the chance to take him up on it, I am guessing the trout in the backwoods lakes and small creeks we have up here would respond well to that method.

Re: What happened here!?!?!
Hey guys,
Well apart from work doing fiber glassing/moulding /cad etc and the same old PJ stuff, I applied for a position as a paramedic this year, looking at closing down the workshop. Should be a nice change of pace I think.
If things don't work out how I'd hoped in the coming months and I do take up the paramedics position, I'm pretty convinced I'm just going to dump every idea I tested here for everyone to read, success and failures, maybe providing a few good and useful tips to give the next people something to develop further. After all the meetings etc i've had, I'm at the point now where I think that the true value in all of the work done is whats going to be given to the next "generation" of pulsejet enthusiasts, so good ideas don't sit on my shelf getting all dusty and bitter
Other then that, I'm happy plodding along being awesome
Nice tasty fish there viv
Good to see you all, I got a few emails, i'll get through them all shortly
