Cones rounded out; 7 hours. I think I'm within tollerances. Have to doublecheck

Is he almost ready to run Metiz??

Is it not be better that I blow air into the both intakes , than into just one intake?Tomorrow I will make a splitter & again new injectors.

Hey Barry. I've run into a bit of welding trouble: only two cones are attached atm. As for trying air in both intakes: good idea! This might prevent air going out the other intake and will give you a compresison boost. PUH-LEASE try to make a video!

Just welded on the straight tailpipe section to test if the welding tips would pay off and they do! I'll try to finish it tomorrow

I tried already, but he don't start.I try much different depths of the injectors in the intakes.
Good is that there coming no more flame's out the intake like before.
I'am thinking that my airsupply from the compressor is not enough. And I have nothing else for try with.
On 1 intake with the other blocked,he runs good,so I think I need more airspeed??
Now I wait that Metiz will start his M40,looking that he has the same problems.
Sorry, not already a movie, because I don't find a good location for starting & in my garage it is not possible.

Hey Barry

The injectors look good. I'm pretty close to completion and might be able to test this weekend
Here are some pics. For some reason the intakes are slightly tilted inwards. Not a clue how that happend but it probably doesn't matter. The welds need some tidying up.

Finished!

Damned thing fought me all the way through but it's done, finally. I'll worry about injectors, sparkplug and leak/ weld management some other day.

The intakes are slightly slanted towards the tailpipe for reasons unknown to me, some needle leaks I could not fix in between the intakes and tailpipe intake-to-choke join. Always a pain those are. Not to many though. Doubt they'll make a difference in an engine this size.

Here are some pics.

Question........What is the difference between the injector , out , middle , far inside the intake.I do not understand that very good??

How far the injector sits in the intake has to do with mixing, atomizing and speed.

If you have a fast injector and you place it deep down the intake, the gas speed will be to fast in the cc and the mixing with air to poor to get a good combustion. If you place a slow injector to far out the the gas might ignite in the intake instead of the cc, or not reach the cc fast enough for the next burn

If you have liquid injectors and you place them to deep inside the intakes, the fuel has (in most cases) not enough time to atomize. If it can't do that, it won't mix with the air properly and you can not get a lean burn.

As for injectors, sparkplug and whatnot, I'll post all the details of what I've done with them and where I put the injectors etc. I might be able to test this weekend - no sooner

Yes yes. just finished injectors. Just need to get some hose fittings to keep it in place. Still need to weld the sparkplug and do some leak fixing. Another hour or so should do.
