Hello, my name is Tim, I´m new here and I have a problem with my self-builded Pluse jet. It won`t start it only runs with blowing air into the intake, but also it runs to slow. I have tried to change the fule-nosle position but it didn`t help. I run it on 35% propan and 65% butan, maybe thats the problem but im not shure.
I have added a short clip, the plans and fotos of my pulsejet, I hope you can help me...

2 Things:

A: Flare your intake. This will make a world of difference
B: The fuel tank you have will not give it enough fuel and therefore, it wil not run. in your video, it's not running. Get a big BBQ sized tank without a regulator to fix it right up

That build is beautifull and it should run HARD once you flare and use a different tank - Good work!

Also, lack of regulator / check valve is not a danger. Propane won't burn without the presence of oxygen, and as all that's in a propane tank is propane, there's no danger of "flashback". The worst case is that you will get a big flame coming from the ball valve on the tank, turn off the valve and it goes out.
