Awesome! I hope it works. You'll have to run it on acetylene though

That is tiny! How does the thin layer moulding process work?

Hi, this is quite simple, designed model is transformed to its form, then the form is filled with hot wax and quickly get rid of the excess wax, you will have thin layer model from wax, than add some holes, and wax sticks, fill the model with high temp. moulding clay, than heat the form in oven to get rid of the wax, than melt some stainless steel (you will need some hydrogen oxygen torch), mould the model, get rid of the clay, and its done. It will be much more simple when I will have the designed model printed on 3D printer in wax.

Lost Wax casting.

A most versatile method, I have used it for jewelry, never quite thought of using it for jets. Thanks for the eye opener.
In the process of moving, from the glorified phone booth we had to the house we have.

No real time to work on jets, more space, no time.

Life still complicated.
