Thanks to all for the comments,
There are some small details that are delaying my test Schedule, like winter, rain, work, life etc,
Of all of them winter is the most troublesome, amongst other things, very poor gas pressure,
Will do my best to get a run and some numbers soon, that is if it works at all,

dump your propane tank in a bath of hot water for pressure, use the umbrella Viv proposed to stay dry and insult your friends and familly so you don't have to worry about social life anymore! :D

Mate would you please go run this thing, take an esky, a gas stove to warm up some water, rain means nothing when its falling on an engine at full pelt, whats your Estimated testing day? I am like staying up days and nights to see it run. Thrust test!!!
You may not even need hot water if it runs on liquid, but it doesn't look big enough for that.

Is the engine itself based on one of your early designs? If so what did it produce?
Kudos for the creative spark here.

Now get out there GOGOGOGOGO!!!!!

P.s: Did I reply to your pm yet?
If not short answer is no, the jet gets blown off too fast and it wont work, That particular design is no good, but keep in touch I'll be marketing some nozzles I'm getting custom made shortly that will work in everything. Maybe 12 days away? (The manufacturer said 7)

Looks interesting to say the least, and in a weird way similar to a design I've been cooking up.

I will be most interested to see how well it misbehaves.
In the process of moving, from the glorified phone booth we had to the house we have.

No real time to work on jets, more space, no time.

Life still complicated.

Heres the first vid , I had to shorten the tailpipe up a bit , it wouldnt lock in as designed ,
the combustion seems to be taking place in the rear half of the cc (cone end), could use some suggestions as to possible remedies for this,

No thrust figures yet , it started to lift the bottle of water then stopped , analising the vid I see that the fuel line snagged on one of the nails that i used to fix the rails to the table ,

Testing to continue and all in all encouraging.

Choke the intake a little? You could put a restrictore temp to try it! You know I can lead you astray so beware!!

Man, You have gone from Experimental to Full Blown Scientific Engineer on this one!

Re the combustion taking place in the rear of the cc...
In experimenting with the Marconnet I found that I could actually move the combustion point
by shortening or lengthing the intake or the tail pipe ( or a combination thereof - but still keeping
the intake/tail pipe ratio's more or less in the same).
I had exactly the same trouble so I shortened the intake so the tail pipe would have more
'push'.Choking the intake also would have the same effect.
However in saying that I also found that the injector can also effect the combustion
point.
So that's my 2 cents worth - might be bogus information but I hope it helps
you out some.

It seems to misbehave most well.

Well done Grim
