Are you for real!? My god, thats scary.... we are going to need a bigger boat...or planet...or something...

Build another upside down stand, give it another belt, with 2 full tanks. If you can't flame it out then.... we are going to have to figure something out. I almost can't believe it didn't flame out, the big similar sized talon here flames out well before full liquid tap, this is just madness, and I love it.

The only thing I can think of is those fuel lines really need the 1/4 inch insertions, just to make absolutely sure your getting nothing but liquid injected into it, I have a feeling that 3 x 10mm lines is giving no real chance to reach critical pressure. Other then that, MORE FUEL!

I know the tank is pressurised but is the fact that the tank is relatively low compared to the fuel lines a factor to? if so it might be better if I lift the lot a bit higher. and you know, get a oil barrel full of petroll to get the thing running for more than 30 secs.

This thing is a behemoth! It wants to blast and I have only seen it Rumble and Grumble with Desire to blast. It burns the ground up to 6-8ft.

James is right, Your delivery is low. Try that. Jump up with your injector lines. You may have some restrictions some way!



Heat it up with propane and Do like Adam did with a weed sprayer pumped up diesel?

While it's hot and running give one of the intakes a shot of diesel via bug / weed sprayer?

Are you feeding all three intakes? Yep! Just read that.

test 3. This time with crushed fuel lines for more pressure. The lines were also out by 2-ish inches next to flush. As the title of this post implies: it dit not go well -especially attempt nr 1. The nut connecting my zero restriction unit to my propane tank was not screwd in enough resulting in a liquid propane leak. I was SO fucking lucky that did not caught fire. damn. Anyway, the lines were probably squished to mutch for a normal flow. I have my eye on some 1/4"lines (hopefully) that will allow me to finally max throttle this thing. vid below.

Arhghg dude your fuel lines! That is no good, and I'm very happy your initial reaction wasn't to run, but to focus, and shut the puppy down. Good work man, keeping your cool under pressure.

Now, I think, I love your twin fuel tank setup there. If that doesn't flame it out were gonna have to go to liquid, or retune the engine further. That is no doubt one big ass engine, if its not fueling, it has to be design. There is no way that should be able to eat 2 liquid lines in one hit, we'll see shortly anyway wont we! WOOOT.

I saw your frustration, and felt it myself many times. Trust me, persist... it will rock your world!

Well I tested the dreadnought again today, just to see if it would fire up at all. Well it did, man that was close. Escaped with only a few cuts and bruises. Realy lucky. Anyway, here's a small vid

Finally, it runs again. I didn't change anything. The only difference is that I used a leafblower. First run was longer but I forgot to press record (...), 2nd run lasted about 2 seconds before one of the orange fuel lines blew of. this video is run nr 3. Full liquid tap ending in a massive flameout. One of the fuel lines vibrated of the engine and blew out.. I WELDED those things on! fackin' hell you can't quite see here but the engine is jumping around and the top intake is jiggling. there is also a small leak in on of the ss fuel lines, that's where the line broke.

I also tried thrust testing a new Talon 20 for the gokart build but I could not get that to run - fuel lines were probably placed wrong.

Mate, good stuff, the big guy roars again! Sounded quite good this time, and sounded like you had more to get out of it yet! I think, it seriously is time you got yourself a brazing kit, having leaks like that (As you see first hand) is just dangerous) Too many close calls now in my opinion, get yourself a primus torch and some brazing rods.

That aside, man, he is a beast, give it hell!
