Ran the Large Hot Pulse Jet in the workshop for some visitors today.
I'm the one with the cap. Frank had a red arm afterwards.
It runs irregular, probebly because of vapor lock in the fuel hose.
Maybe someone can check the frequency?

re: LHPJ
The nozzle is a modified oilburner nozzle. Very commen in central heating systems.
I cut a slot in the top of the nozzle (across) with a small saw. The nozzle is steel. Then after inserting a feeler gage in the slot, tapped the cut evenly with a hammer. Blowing smoke through it showed the uneven gap that was then corrected with the above method. The nozzle screws down under a slight angle in the CC, spraying across and slightly into the intake. fuel is regulated by opening a still very crude ballvalve, allowing the liquid propane into the preheater on to the nozzle.

Awesome! How did you do the CC? I can see that It's made from two halfs, but how did you make those? Once again awesome! like the growling sound :D
If it doesn't fit, use a bigger hammer!
