fwe running on full wack question

Post by metiz » Thu Oct 19, 2006 9:16 pm

Hi

I have never ran my fwe on full throttle because I'm scared of it rupturing/ melting/ bending etc. I'ts build from 1.15ish mm stainless. I've seen movies of lockwoods running white hot, will this ruin the engine or will some extra supporting do?

Go ahead, you're good! Let her rip, 'cause she won't rip!

My bigger valved jet is mild steel. It gets orange hot and just starts to sag over the single middle mounting over time :D
