Metiz
Ignition Temperature for Propane with the proper is air mixture is 920-1029°F or 493.33 - 553.88°C
More propane properties can be found at: http://www.flameengineering.com/Propane_Info.html
Mind if I ask what you have in mind?

If you wanted to stairstep you could use carbon disulfide. I had a can of it once. Look at the ignition temperature and wide range of rich and lean it burns at.
Mark

Lower Flammable (Explosive) Limit (LFL/LEL):
1% (2,31); 1.3% (5,31)

Upper Flammable (Explosive) Limit (UFL/UEL):
50% (5,31)

Autoignition (Ignition) Temperature:
90 deg C (194 deg F).(30) Also reported as 100 deg C (212 deg F) (5,31)

Sensitivity to Mechanical Impact:
Probably not sensitive. Normally stable.

Sensitivity to Static Charge:
Carbon disulfide can accumulate static charge by flow, splashing or agitation due its very low electrical conductivity (7.8 X 10(-4) pS/m at 18 deg C).(29,32) Vapour in the flammable range can be ignited readily by a static discharge of sufficient energy. Minimum ignition energy: 0.009 millijoules.(33,34)
Incompatibility - Materials to Avoid:
AIR and RUST - may ignite and explode. This reaction may be initiated by rust.(39)
