Eric - Thank you!

NickC - I have been at this for almost five (5) years; I was not in any hurry then, and I am not in any hurry now.
I am playing a long game, in terms of my strategy. You may "come and go in a heated rush"; quality takes time.

I will not respond to you again. There are many excellent plans available in this forum... Please check them out.

Best regards,
Störgröße M.

Either you are unable to count, or you are exceptionally lazy. This makes nine (9) posts in all since this thread was started, and even you cannot make a defensible claim that each of these has "acidic" content. Par for the course in the FPN, I guess.

In any event, how are you helping? Are you hoping that I will not come through with the promised upload(s)? How do you benefit if I do not? What is your lifetime contribution to this field? And no...I am not asking to know just how many hotdogs that you can eat in one sitting. I suspect that you will not be satisfied, regardless of what I do. Consider yourself shrouded.

M.

PS: Yes, this definitely qualifies as a post with an acidic content.

Hi Milisavljevic,

One of my favorite latin dictums:

" Illegitimi Non Carborundum ".

Al Belli

Thank you.

Bwahahahaha... Al, I have not heard mock Latin used effectively for a long time. It is a disappearing art. Thank you.

Hi Bruno,

" (The spelling should be "Illegitimi . . ." This is a motto of a British military unit, and as with many mottos, is bad Latin, both in grammatical form and in using incorrect vocabulary, but the military people do quote it as "Don't let the bastards wear you down". It would better be put in classical Latin as "Nolite ab nothis teri!") ".

Yes, I'm familiar with the saying; just haven't heard it (or other effective pieces of intentionally bad Latin) for a while. Had a good chuckle.

Gentlemen - Try these rephrasings on for size (courtesy of William & Mary College, via Google ;-)

"NOLI SINERE NOTHOS TE TERERE" -- when addressing one person; two (2) alternatives follow
"NOLITE SINERE NOTHOS VOS TERERE" --- when addressing many people; sans the alliteration
"NOLI SINERE NOTHAS TE TERERE -- again, to one person; when the 'bastards' are all feminine

Camping on threads may be fun, but without a "clean-up", I fear that this thread is lost forever!
C'est la vie! ;-)

Best regards,
Störgröße M.

Dear Moderators:

Considering some of the content in this thread, and others, I suggest the creation of a separate section of the Forum dedicated to:

- Ways to call into question the parentage of others in various languages.
- How to make someone feel better by degrading others.
- Ranting, raving and remonstration in various forms.
- Information exchange suppression tactics.
- Character assassinations.
- Personal attacks.
- General insults.
- Accusations
- Arguments
- Sarcasm
- Curses
- Etc…

By moving posts related to these topics to their own dedicated section, those of us who wish to focus on these pursuits can do so without the distractions of supportive comments, positive feedback or the productive exchange of information on pulsed combustion.

While this post could also be viewed as one or more of the above topics, it is in fact a serious request. I suggest somewhere in the Off Topic forum, or possibly another location where entry limited to those involved.

Many young, hungry and impressionable minds frequent our Forum. I for one believe they should find the pulsed combustion information they seek without the negative examples of human interaction we (including me) have displayed here.

Dave

Mike --

Please proceed as you think best with this thread, e.g., clean it up, delete it, lock it, move it.
I no longer care... It has been worn completely "threadbare" (pun intended).

I can always open a new thread(s) to upload my files.
And then we will see who comes calling.

M.
