I have started the building of the cc.
But I couldn't make it absolute round. How importent is that?

The combustion chamber can be any shape you like, but only round things can be butt welded to other round things. For ease of construction I have been patient and found stainless cannisters, cones, pipe, table legs, chutney dishes and desert bowls and such until I had enough matching diameters. You don't need to fabricate anything but there are a few missing forms without which only simple form engines can be made.
Hello!
I'm actully not using any sort of a rolling machine, just an anvil, some model pipes, a hammer and a vise (and a welder, of course). So my engines aren't completely round as well, but really try to give your best and work as exactly as you can (+-0.5mm should be possible).
Good luck!
It needn't be completely round, but the volume/ cross-sectional area distribution shouldn't be influenced to much.alex wrote:I have started the building of the cc.
