First - changing to 3/16" tubing made all the difference with the 1 1/4 Wye setup.
Encouraged by the progress with the 1 1/4" Wye fitting, I picked up a two inch Wye. I scavenged the 2" to 1" bell reducer from my first pipewood, along with the exhaust and the 3/4" inlet.
Pretty much it is the same layout as the 1 1/4 inch in my earlier posts: a pipe cap drilled for a spark plug attached to the Wye by a piece of 2" nipple (six threads worth), the Wye, the reducing coupling cum tailpipe attached with another six thread piece of nipple. The inlet is attached via a hex reducing bushing. I tried stinger sizes from 1/8" up to 3/8". The 3/16ths steel worked the best.
