Everybody Quotes Me Eventually

Thank you for publicly acknowledging my contribution to your project, Mike. I will be very excited to read the data from the intial test runs. If you ever mass-produce the Kazoo jet, I would like to pictured in the promotional material.

How about it says Mike all over it?
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

How about Mike Squared, seeing how there's two of you?

How times have changed. 80 years ago, your engine would be called something like Everman & Kirney. Today, even Mike Squared sounds a bit complex. My 1906 pencil sharpener is called "Guhl & Harbeck Bleistiftschaerfmaschine Jupiter-1". No wonder people turned to ballpoints.

My 15 Minutes

Post by Mike Kirney » Wed Dec 17, 2003 2:53 am

This is a little embarrassing. My original post was actually supposed to be a reply under "Kazoo engine" but something happened and now it is a thread of its own. I wouldn't feel comfortable with my surname on the package just for suggesting that silly name, but a picture of me with a big goofy grin holding one would be very appropriate I think. I gotta get my hands on one of these hats before the photo shoot though:

How do you propose to synchronize the two props in flight? If you don't there's likely to be some awful vibration.

Also, you may have missed the point with your hat. Aren't we talking about jet engines, rather than oldfashioned propellers?

If I may suggest a bit of Antipodean fashion wear instead, courtesy of Our Man in the Outback, Gary Robinson... It is not just jet-powered, it's valveless!

Gentlemen, I present to you La Ecrevissette:
