COTTRILL VALVELESS PULSEJET DESIGNS
Here are recent designs of mine that are either known to run or are closely based on successful earlier designs. I do not usually draw highly detailed plans, and all drawings are published either as part of Web sites specific to a design or posted here on the Valveless Pulsejets Forum. These are listed in order from oldest to most recent.
Where I indicate 'DJ dimensions', it means that the overall engine size is practically identical to the standard Dynajet valved engine: 21 inches head-to-tail, 1.25 inch tailpipe diameter and 2.5 inches max. engine diameter.
Valveless Pulsejets Built and Run
Reynstodyne Elektra I 'Five Dollar Pulsejet' - good running, low cost and easy to build, but rather long and not very powerful -

Reynstodyne Fo Mi Chin Prototype - the original shaving cream can pulsejet - ran well but very difficult to build and 1.2 metres long - listed mostly for historical interest -

Reynstodyne Fokus 'Short Lady' - the classic Focused Wave Valveless Pulsejet Engine (FWE) - easy starting, good running, fairly powerful, fairly easy to build, compact size and good looking, too - independently built and tested by several people with differing skill levels -

Reynstodyne Fo Mi Chin Type II - also very hard to build but proved to be a good-running engine and much more compact than the original Fo Mi Chin prototype - features unique quasi-concentric intake to minimize engine cross section profile and reduce the engine to DJ dimensions -

Untested Designs Based on Successful Engines
Reynstodyne Fokus FWE 'Sveldt Lady' - the successful Fo Mi Chin II style in-line intake applied to the classic FWE planform, but shortened slightly to DJ dimensions -

Reynstodyne FMC II - very precise adaptation of the Fo Mi Chin Type II in an easy-to-build format, eliminating the paper thin and troublesome pressure can, but requires rolling chamber cylinder and cones - should run exactly like the Fo Mi Chin II, with DJ dimensions -

Reynstodyne Fokus FWE IV 'Smooth Lady' - the easiest-to-build form of the FWE design - no bent intake, no split shell intake like the FMC II and Sveldt Lady - very simple construction and should run just like the classic Short Lady - DJ dimensions -

Plans and/or other helpful engine construction information are featured in all these locations, though in some cases you will need to scroll down through the posts to get the whole picture. There are also many construction photos, some scaled patterns for the cone sheets, etc.
Enjoy!
