Re: Tighter airvalves?
Ha! great!
I will make two CC/inlet caps. One with straight inlets for a control-setup and one with bend inlets as the experiment.
Thinking of making bolted flanges on the caps and the CC and using softened copper or exhaust-thinges/paste/filler/whatever as a seal.

Re: Tighter airvalves?
Good idea. try to use some thick steel for the cap and flanges so that when you bolt the cap(s) on, the caps will compress whatever you use as a sealant instead of buckling around it to get a good seal.

Re: Tighter airvalves?
I will. And the flanges (then also on the tailpipe side) will also provide the posibility of the future use of ceramic (Al2O3) pipe for the CC:

Personal sacrifices for science
Sometimes personal sacrifices for science are needed, this might be such a case...
Check, check, dubbelcheck,
Internal dia CC: 66 mm, Internal dia 65 mm A personal sacrifice seems inevitable...

Naw just get some ablative glue, like phenolic resin. Then maybe itll last 10 or even 15 seconds
