Identify the mystery object
Hi All,
I have been busy recently (see attachment).
The first person to correctly identify the object will win a prize related to the object itself.
Cheers,
Wilson.

6-gang banana straightening jig.
Re: Identify the mystery object
I've seen these before. They are used as a lever to pry money from your wallet. AKA bank account floor drain.

Nice Mr. Metiz!
Almost absolutely correct. Its a pattern, not a mould. But I'll accept that that's what you meant.
Your prize is the first set of valves to come from this pattern.
Its actually a master pattern. An RTV daughter is cast and then a resin copy & that is what is used to make the sand mould.
The wax would wear out very rapidly if used to make sand moulds directly.
Cheers,
Wilson.

Ha cool!
What kind of metal alloy will you be using for the casting? Looks like it's for a pretty big engine!

Re: Identify the mystery object
Hi Mark,
Thanks, I had forgotten about that.
Mr. Metiz, the metal will be aluminium. The length is about 100mm (4 inches).
I'm aiming for a jet big enough to power a bike or cart, say 50 - 75lbs thrust.
The idea is very much along the lines of a Solarjet.
I will be making a valve holder to hold the valves in place as a casting also.
It will be easier to design once I have made the actual valves.
Cheers,
Wilson.
