question about the valves
Is air being sucked in causing the valve to open and then shut when the engine fires?
Re: question about the valves
yes. The pressure difference causes outside air to push the valves open

Re: question about the valves
When the fuel air mixture ignites in the combustion chamber it builds up pressure that blows out the exhaust tube. The pressure traveling down the exhaust tube acts like a piston about half way down the tube the pressure drops to zero after it sucks a vacuum in the engine that causes more fuel and air to enter the engine for the next combustion cycle.

Re: question about the valves
A simple self sustaining eternal combustion engine, with no moving parts. Intake, compression, ignition and exhaust.
(Intake could be referred to as vacuum.)
It is truly amazing that a 100 year old technological still has something to teach us!
YES I stand corrected again! Thanks for the email friends!
Intake i.e. ,1-fuel and oxygen, 2-Ignition then 3-thrust. With or without valves.
