Essential reading

Post by Mike Everman » Mon Dec 18, 2006 1:15 am

More to come, please post links to docs you know of and I'll fold them into this post.

This is the fabulous Russian pulsejet hobbyist manual, complete with control line plane plans and test stands.

I liked the Schmidt report very much. When you are done reading classmates, you should be able to name three disadvantages of the Schmidt tube over the typical V-1 shaped engine. Still there is a plus too if I recall with peak pressures. It's been awhile since I've read it.

Hi,

I am having the Russian pulsejet book ( that Mike Everman posted ) translated into English, and would like to know how many forum members would be interested in purchasing a CD, or printed copy.
The translation is being done by an American aerospace engineer ( rocket scientist ) who has worked extensively with Russian engineers, and is fluent in the aspects of technical Russian.
The projected price of the final product is about $20 US for the CD.
If there is sufficient interest in a printed copy, I will obtain a quote from a commercial printing company.

Thanks.
