We have all seen the ram-jet guys use leaf blowers to run thier engines and show thrust from the ramjet.
Has anyone yet built a motor jet to specifically run from a blower?
Some of the blowers now are boasting fairly high airspeed numbers, so why cant we use one as the motor section?
Any ideas you can throw at me would be greatly apreciated, I do have a large ramjet body already made but without a flame holder as yet which is convenient for experimentation purposes.
Will a tailpipe section be required to maximise output etc.?
Any help and suggestions to get maximum thrust from this setup will be taken onboard and credit given where credit is due.
This will (hopefully)also be used as a demo for the local high schools in my area.
Thanks guys,
Chad.
