Hello,
I am new here and to pulse jets in general. I have made a small pulse jet which will not sustain, but I will get to that issue in another post.
However, in my searching of the web for any indication of how fast a vehicle of any sort would go when powered by a jet, I could find nothing but formulas. I have no problem with formulas myself, but I know that they can be very confusing for many. So in response to this, I have created an Excel sheet which can do all the calculations for you with only a few simple inputs. It is based on Metric, but I have included all the Imperial units as well. The columns can be filtered to show more or less results, but the rest of the sheet is not editable to protect the formulas.
So, without further adieu, here it is. I would be glad of comments, or suggestions to make it easier to use.

Re: Jet Speed and Acceleration Calculator
Very nice, like the drag and friction coeff tables.
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.
