Russian pulsejets

I saw this video a week ago and i was little confused seeing the video because it doesnt look like the normal pulsejet designs, it looks like it got longer CC and longer intake and slightly like chinese type. Can anyone say me if we have longer CC is it compulsory to keep longer intake and in the tailpipe the cone area is larger than the straight pipe. Iam little confused but this engine is interesting and he says that its a russian style.
