Am I out there enjoying this 'balmy' late winter weather? For sure, I've been working on a broke down car over the last several days.

Just take a look at this weeks forecast for the Laurentides park in Quebec, yes that's a snow fall warning for 10 to 15 cm in the last week of April! and yes I was thinking about taking the winter snow tires off this week ;-)

See attached PDF of the page or go to to Environment Canada http://text.www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/for ... 113&unit=m

If I remember correctly, it was back in the early 90's we had a record snow storm drop about 12" on us in April. Quite frankly, I am not ruling it out this year, yet.

Hi Forrest

It was not a bad day here by the lake but lucky I did not have to drive through the little park as it looks like they had a few inches of the white stuff ;-)

btw the lake is almost ice free now! thats a pretty fast spring melt for these parts all things considered (in feb there was an ice village and car park on it ;-) looks like a hot summer this year if this keeps up.

Hi Forrest

It continues to be interesting weather up here in the the North, 2.8c today and a good healthy 30mm of rain in the last few days, now we have some snow to the south of us on a mountain range triggering a snow fall warning for that area of 5 to 10cm

Not complaining even though I swapped out the winter tires for summer tires the other day, its not unusual to see a bit of snow this time of year and we definitely need the rain as the lake is very low and they only expect it to be full some time in June or July
