Magnet World

Well it's a slow day, but I found the comments amusing. I kept thinking about my Model T buzz coil. Nothing new of course.

"I noticed that was interesting was a spark arced to my thumb. At about 3:23 you need to watch carefully, you'll see a very quick arc to my thumb."

"Your dog sounds possessed."

This was funny to me.
"get on with it man!!!!!!!"

"at 2:31, the dog barks and scares the hell out of me everytime. BUT do you the dog heard a high frequency noise, like a dog whistle? That would give you a general range of frequency. Even cooler, your dog would get to help you with the research. just a thought."

I was reading the first cube was made with magnets on the Make demo of how to make one.
"Interestingly enough, the first Rubik's cube ever was made with magnets!"
Yawn.

He's overly emphatic in speech, but the verticle demo is good/fair.

"Pretty simple, get a big piece of copper, a large strong neodymium magnet and put it on the copper. Get another magnet and carefully use it to lift the magnet off the copper. The copper acts as a brake for the magnet so the magnet will move slowly near it and it gives you time to make adjustments to keep it afloat." Yawn.

If you stick with this, there's some curious things to ponder.

BRAIN FART: If he could use other magnets to very the length of the legs, He could control direction!

Don't think I would like to drive one to buy a loaf of bread!
