If you made the gap way less, you could aim for/approach a valveless pulsejet of sorts. I would lose the copper fitting and go with a metal or quartz jar if you wanted to see the flames. It's sort of snorkeling with a gap. ha
Not bad for what it does though without cracking, running for as long as it did using the copper fitting. They seem to have a genuine interest in jam jarring. I liked it.
