When I was there, 79-85 in the USAF I Learned About Tax.

You all have a mean MOT test on cars.

I bought a Mini and drove it until the MOT ran out and went out and bought the next one...It was cheaper to buy a Banger and dump it then pass the test....

That's whats going to happen over here too!

I just read in the paper today that the state of N.M. is going to charge me $75.00 for a permit to pull my well pump and replace it....HA! Last week if you wanted a water well set on you property, the permit was $5.00. This week the same permit cost $125.00. If You have to do repairs,,,,Permit $75.00 to replace my own property????

I should be airing this on my complaint and wieners corner.....

Oh well! I feel better know!

The problem with the site was most likley just a SNAFU by someone out there...seems to have cleared up for me anyway!

No more White Page.....No More Drops.....No More Problems...

This a trace route from here via satalite.

first hop is internal here, next two internal at the ground station, anikast is the main backbone.

Last reported router is the same but my host is in the same complex and I get a similer result, the routers internal to the data center are firewalled so thats why your not getting any thing once you cross the edge of the internal external network.

I forgot to say, the first two trace routes failed with an "unknown host" message, this would point the finger of blame at a DNS server issue, as it was reported that people went some were else when they clicked on the address it would seem likely or some one tried to poisen a DNS server some were on their local route.

Hi Ben, a couple of tracerts for you. It took me 6 disconnects and reconnects to get on the site this morning. Mine also won't trace a route all the way through when I can get to the site.

Hi Ben, those are when I couldn't connect, but I actually get the timeout at the same server when I can connect. I have posted on the teckie forum I use and it looks like if ICMP is blocked on a server the trace route is blocked there.

Check out the thread, it's interesting that some ISPs can browse straight away and some can't:

The computers in the Notts. COUNTY libraries give perfect access all the time to here.
The ones in Nottingham CITY libraries stopped giving any access here about January. They give a 'timed out' reply after only about 5 seconds trying to connect!

I've been unable to connect, consistently, for over a year. The triggering event was changing ISP (to wanadoo france). Like everyone else, tracerouts all stopped at ivhou.<something>.ev1.net.

Yesterday, I discovered I could reconnect, but I still get timeouts at ivhou.<something>.ev1.net, so that may be somewhat of a red herring.

Got a new internet connection, guess what happened, no access anymore to this site.
With a tracert it looks like this.
The same server you al get stuck on.
Tried it with a proxy and had no problems anymore, only a lot slower, has to find a faster one.

Hi Leo, sorry to hear you're having problems. Mine has been consistently ok for some time now. I've been connected with this router ever since though, so maybe that makes a difference. There is one hell of a delay before I get to the site but to be honest if I can get here at all it's good enough for me.

There were already some topics on this problem, and like I said before: use a proxy-server. Without it, I haven't been able to access this site at all so far, but since I use it it works fine, and not at all slower than other sites.

Kid I remember that, and just tried it when I had no access anymore .
The only thing I have to find a good proxy, I tried a few, but some are slow and not reliable.
And others having problems with other sites.

This one I use now. 62.50.80.2 port 8080
It seems fast to me but give me problems with CNN but not all the time!.

Jonny I would try a proxy to get more speed.
Kid what proxy do you use?.

Thanks for the tip Leo. Just tried that proxy but it doesn't make much difference, I think it just makes a lot of hops before it gets there.

I just notice that I don’t need a proxy anymore.
And for the first time a tracert don’t have a time out, it look like this.

>tracert www.pulse-jets.com

Bezig met het traceren van de route naar www.pulse-jets.com [216.127.78.99]

14 193 ms 146 ms 145 ms sapphire.msrootserve.com [216.127.78.99]

De trace is voltooid.

Only one hour earlier it ended on www.pulse-jets.com instead off sapphire.msrootserve.com.
Has this all something to do with the site being down.?
Maybe we can expect more traffic from now on because more people will get here.
