Today I bought 32.95 pounds of methanol (5 gallons). Funny if you bought 32 pounds of explosives, people would take notice. Yet there is real energy in methanol or any liquid fuel, it's just common place and mostly goes without notice.
I was just thinking of the energy in 5 gallons of methanol, as I was driving my jug of it home on the passenger seat next to me, from the race car store, how interesting if it were all burned in just a few seconds.
I wonder what's the biggest jam jar device anyone has attempted? Wouldn't it be interesting to see a structurally reinforced steel vessel of gigantic proportions set into a lumbering pulsating mode. It might even upstage a really big bonfire. Those SRL guys should try one, it's seems something akin to their cup of tea. Maybe some Bob Marley "We're Jammin' music to set the stage. Ah, humor and entertainment all in one, "I hope you like jammin too..."
