Not quite off topic -- this is to remind you that people did fly using SNECMA pulsejets once.

SNECMA has two museums, one devoted to aircraft engines and the other to rocketry and space. No, neither museum has any SNECMA pulsejets exhibited except for those on teh Emouchet sailplane. Curious but true. They have three motor cycles on show, built before World War II by companies that joined to form SNECMA after the war, but no pulsejets.
However, as an article on the museum says, "l’association des Amis du musée Snecma dispose d’une bibliothèque où est réunie la documentation nécessaire à la remise en état des vieux moteurs".
Normally, my not-even-rudimentary French is only really useful for... er... close encounters of intimate kind, but I think that the sentence says that the Society of Friends of the Museum has a library at its disposal, and that the library has many documents pertaining to various engines.
That sounds promising. However, Villaroche, France, is a bit far to travel just on the off chance that (a) the Society will let me have a look at its library and (b) that the library will actually have stuff of interest to us.
Yes, I have written to the museum. No, they have not responded.

Just for help you for the translation,
'' The Association of the Snecma museum friend's has a library where is the document gathered useful for old engine refit''

Nicole, you're a darling. I have a love/hate relationship with the French. You have just added a pinch of love to the mixture. Merci!
