The price is right but the shipping will probably be an arm and a leg.

Maybe, you have two weeks to move it, think it could be made airworthy in that time?

Tom, I can almost guarantee that taking disecting and loading that thing on a freighter would cost less than having it inspectied from nose to tail and re-furbished to the point of airworthiness. Who even knows if you can get parts for it? Simply to fill those fuel tanks would cost a mighty sum, and then you would have to hire somebody to fly it, and nuclear bombs aren't exactly cheap either, even second-hand Russian ones.

Before I left england for good I did a tour of aircraft museams, I looked around a vulcan and you have to do that to appriciate how big they are.

The bomb bay is ucking huge! its the lenght of a a truck and trailer! look up the the missile it was built to take, i think it was blue streak or maybe blue flame, I had a look at one too, awesome.

Any way its a very very big airplane for sure:-)

I remember when they were still in service, I saw them quite a few times and the other V bombers too

It's more than 6 million pounds already. I really can't understand wealthy man's purchasing behavior.

1. The description for that item is merely 3 or 4 lines, I wonder if they have checked the item personally already.
2. Bidders's purchase record shows nothing different. They normally bid on items cheaper than 10 pounds, ie you can't judge how rich they are from the past. (except this time)
3. Why don't they just kill in the last few minutes ? Jacking the price so high several days before closing doesn't seem to be smart. I'd be a happy man by now if i were the seller.

I really can't understand.

I think that a lot of those extremely high bids are phony. The guy who never spends more than ten bucks will most likely not honour his bid if he wins.

Gee, so many bid retractions and cancellations, it seems that you're right, those extremely high bids are phony. Anyway this is my best amusement this week, just like TV drama series ! Why didn't people chose to jack up the price of my auction last time ? :-)

Sell it as a nuclear weapon of mystcal workings. It has the looks, and due to its magical powers, requires no radioactive fuel for its operation.

should fetch a few million.

dont forget sold as is, of unknown origin, etc
