I saw this video a recently, it reminded me of the forum and made me take a good hard look at myself, primarily due to the distinct lack of pulse jets in my life. I did pursue a career in engineering because of how fascinated I was(am) by them, after all!

I'm glad to see there are others keeping the interest alive.

For one of those intermittent unstable contraptions, the effect of building some feedback, albeit momentarily, it was a somewhat unusual transition, for not having any typical fueling feeding it.

I got a CM-6 10mm spark plug to buzz by running it upside down on this acrylic sheet, but here's an even smaller upside down 1/4 32 glow plug slowly getting up to speed. It's noisy for a small spinning top.
