The more compression you demand of an RVC the more shaft power it takes, I feel a 2 blade "low compression" version would only require 5-15 of the shaft hp.
Would it make up the difference is the math I need to work out...

I'm an Aerospace Engr student, cur...

Re: Pressure Gain Combustion (Now Proven)
I'll make a new thread in a few...but Just wondering about how a pj's intake would effect the performance of other types of jets, like this patent I found on Leo's site http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b393/Zippiot/us002574460-001.jpg PJ/Ramjet hybrid Could be easy enough to build/test before jumpi...

Re: Pressure Gain Combustion (Now Proven)
Sorry to steal the thread a bit Luc but, to Nicole: Are you sure about the pj not working well under those conditions? Isnt induced flow how you start one and wouldn't it simulate dynamic conditions as if it were mounted on a plane of sorts... And about the turbine not running well. Yes the pulsing ...

Re: Liquid fueling.
What ever happened to inflating rubber surgical tubing inside a bottle? The stuff I bought for 5 bux per 15 feet is amazing inflates around 25 psi. Find a nalgene bottle and fit sum vales to it; a really easy way to refill is to build a pvp pipe that can hold the tanks max and attatch a bike valve t...
