re: Yet another annular -- the Quasi-Argus
Bruno The Stainless Donuts first popped to mind again when I saw your SP-22 Constant Flow engine. Unfortunately, it took a while to track down the manufacturer again, even though they are located in my own back yard (Buffalo, NY). Apparently they had shut down for vacation and, even though an ebay s...

re: Mike's Dual Chinese
Mike Maybe the meaning of TIG process should be renamed: Testy, Impractical, Gadget. Not being an experienced TIGer myself I can’t be of much help, other than what I have read and been told. Interestingly enough it still appears to be necessary to thoroughly clean even the brightest of stainless t...

Hopefully there will be a summer edition and at a time when I can attend. Heck, I might even have to build a thing or two for the occasion.

Luc and Viv
Read you post on the GLC Forum and am impressed with the high thrust and low noise figures previewed. Am eagerly awaiting the validated test results and more details when they become available.

re: A Revolution in Pressure Jet Technology
You leave town for a few days and everything changes! New GLC PulseRam = less complexity, more thrust, less noise and Viv in shock. Sounds like a winner to me! Viv, Stéphane and Luc it’s time to get back ON your chairs and validate those test results. We need details. I’m headed back out on the...

re: Original Gluhareff Engines / We have 2
Luc and Viv It is good to see that some of these myths finally put to rest through hard work and science. Along with the elimination of myths comes confirmation of several things: First is that Gene had amazing insights and applied those in a unique approach to pulse jet design. He also had to have ...

Hey, this could be fun! UPS trucks from all across the US and converging at Canadian border where confused Customs inspectors swear they hear incoherent muffled mumbling… The only down side is that those guys have firearms and might feel the need to exercise their rights immediately after the demo...

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm sure Larry will come up with enough ideas to keep you off the streets at night. If not, it sounds as though Eric can fill the void.
I'll add another vote to those above: "Posting photos is always good."

That is some wild ride you took.
Just remember: Pain goes away, Chicks love scars and Legends live forever…
Glad you were not seriously hurt and I hope your friend makes it through OK.

re: From Summer to Winter overnight
Rossco Good to hear from down under. Almost forgot that your weather is opposite of what we have at this time of year. The temperatures being in the 30s and 40s does sound somewhat familiar; it’s just that ours is F and not C! That won’t last long though as the Siberian Express is headed back th...
