single detonation cycle meshed in ICEM and simulated in ansys fluent. Probably tomorrow i will complete the simulation :D :D Looks like the cj velocity matches my simulation.

They are conical, the photo angle makes it look like it's cylindrical

i have a question here why you didnt prefer to add conical augmenter to your engine. In an research paper by nasa says that conical Augs provide better performance than cylindrical.

Regarding your design i would suggest you to add choke in between CC and exhaust. Tailpipe looks too long you can reduce it to 15" and make the intake length to 4.2inches. Flares are very important in valveless pulsejets because at higher throttle it helps the engine to breath easily. 1mm wall thick...

Looking good! Now make a 2nd identical engine with just a straight pipe and see if there's a thrust difference Already my first attempt was with straight pipe still i didnt calculate the thrust difference but by seeing i can say that the cone transition design is much powerful than the straight pip...

Yaaaay, engine ran successfully!!!!!! It started in first attempt itself. But unfortunately i kept my mobile in my room so wasnt able to take the video. I will post the video tomorrow. Got some pictures for you all.
