Search in the Pressure-Jet Forum. There, those days, Viv and Luc posted some interesting things.
To keep it brief: They said exactly the opposite (wrt. thrust) of what that advertisement says. And I would be with their opinion in this case as well.

re: Jims Little 3 Lb Thermojet
Today I found the time to take a look at "Mag's" records of his Thermojet. Which means I tried to get into that frequency analyzation a bit deeper for the first time, so bare with me (..."M."). (! Well, at first, the records were made properly, inspite of showing the final, completely "warmed-up" ru...

Again, very cool, Eric!
This one looks increasingly promissing to me. The larger temperatures achieved, together with the sound output could be considered as good indication though.
See below: Thanks Mike! Completely overread that.

The build looks good, however, with the inlet that near to the head plate, it is very likely that the engines will still refuse to run. Regardless of other changes.

Cool!
Many thanks!
Unfortunately it does not look like as if my timetable would let me play a lot with NUDiS, but I was and am aware of the potential.

Re: re: Mike' Mini kenny build bits
I could swear I posted the forming pics already... I wonder where they went. The thread title is changed, too. Dito. Mysterious. But: Looks good! You could do yourself a favour and temporarily convert the m-k 0.54.7x project to a Christmas calendar. Each day on more piece of the puzzle, or chocolate.

re: Sheet metal rolling tool
"kd2" (Yam), Yes it is pretty much "stone-age-style" like you call it. However, the simple tool is still the only one, which I can build longer conical sections in decent quality with. It is likely that there are machines out there, but they will cost quite some money, if they could deal with the sm...

You could try some online auctions, but I have never heard of a "Pulso 1" selling. You will have to build it or a similar sized one most probably.

Re: re: Thrust without reaction mass?
Two such devices mounted side by side, synchronized and counter-rotating would, as far as I can see, cancel out all forces except the ones in the direction of travel. Hmmm, seems like that. Then it still would fulfill the case of a need "to work against something", when borrowing Mike's expression....

re: RC V-1
This V-1 RC model was flown and landed quite properly during the "Days of Thunder" in Rothenburg/Neiße (FRG) on 2006-05-27. The model was rather slow though, when compared to other models, but not quite slow. The builder claimed the necessarity for usage of quite a bit Pb in the front of the model...

Even easier and cheaper: Go to the http://www.pulse-jets.com main page, select "pulsejet" in the top bar, and voila, there you will find not only the "Pulso 1" blueprint.
