I think we have a cracker.....variant 1 of F would NOT flame out on vapour.....tweeking required.....OH the fun of it all ......I have noticed some unique thermal patterns in the CC....... fueled vs non........ interesting...... some russian (for lack of the correct moniker) intakes may be involved....

Hey Folks I have finally had achance to start some mor fire and thunder fun.....a retest of Franki gives me 1.8KG + of thrust on LP vapour..... the scale side I was reading is in metric.....DUH.....will test the KLM later this week...so how is everyone else doing? I have contemplated this just for fun and have some parts waiting
50ml earlmyer flask (CC)
10ml graduated cyl (intake)
25ml graduated cyl (exhaust)
Components are borocylicate lab glass easy to form and weld with a pencil tip propane torch......would be kewl to watch until it structuraly failed.

Our first real entry! Thanks for the support Mike...I am stuck at the noth pole (or darn close to it) and will be building a jet here on the morrow...currently at CFS Alert the most northerly permently inhabited place in the world....so lets add a new rule..... closest to 90 deg N with a running je...

A dissapointing first run... Set up ? I have never actually measured the thrust before...just loved the mmmmmmwwwwwwwhhhhaaaaaaa...factor so time for scientific stuff...LOL ....maybe an injector change? I think Larry may be able to supply a vid of the starting up procedure (mine went when the dam comp crashed), and I believe there may be one on U Tube as well.....all this gab makes me want to fire her up again...having a younger sister and all :) You should fasten everthing down in the shop and ope...

Hi Larry et al
I had tried high velocity (pinched and linier) injectors with this unit without success, I would think that a radial type would work as well and probably better, the fuel needs to be dispersed transversly within the intake due to the volume (area) of the ducts...hope this helps.
